I love this model! It’s so naff, it’s charming…. What a way to start an advert. I want you to buy this!
Let’s start with the good. It’s runs well, and comes with a fitted lamp and real coal load. It’s also had its cab detail painted. The loco has been repainted for LMS Red and overall black looks far nicer than from the factory. It’s also a brilliantly simple model!
The bad…. It’s a loud model. Lima Pancake motor so its growls. It’s not refined model. Cab side numbers is a little wonky on fireman’s side and scratched BR Crests. However, the largest issue is that the loco body doesn’t remain on chassis when picked is as both screw holes have cracked.
A prefect model for a battery conversion, or if you just want a cheap and cheerful loco for the kids or and grandchildren to enjoy.

Returns & Refund Policy: Locomattive Models Ltd operates a 30 day returns policy from day of arrival with you. Returns are paid at the owners hcost. However, if an item is defective and evidence can be supplied of an issue, refunds can be granted without returning the model. Refunds can take 10 working days to appear in your account from the date of issue. Locomattive Models is responsible for lost or damage in the post. Where possible repairs will be offered. All parcels are insured while in transit. If after 30 days your model develops a fault, please do feel free to get in contact, as we may still be able to assist. Unless requested otherwise all parcel are sent via Royal Mail or Parcel Force (If a Large Item). Please do get in contact if your model is a taking a long time to arrive. Royal Mail do not consider an item lost unless it undelivered after 10 working days of them taking possession of it. Locomattive model will not refund for lost items until this 10 working day period has passed.
